Ajax announced the contractual renewal of Olivier Aertsen. The 18 -year -old defender will be in Amsterdam by the end of the 2024/25 season and in his contract, there is still an option for automatic renewal for another season.

Born in Northern Braban province, more precisely in the city of Veldhoven, Olivier Aertsen arrived at Ajax in July 2019. He was linked to Sparta Rotterdam, where he was an athlete of the base categories of the Rotterdam Club. Since then, Olivier Aertsen has been at Ajax and every season, he can gain space in the larger Ajax teams. At Jong Ajax, he has played in 27 matches. In the godnzonen’s main team, Olivier Aertsen played only 21 minutes at the Netherlands Cup, when Ajax won FC Dench under the command of Alfred Schreuder.
