AZ Alkmaar announced Pascal Jansen’s contract renewal. The London-born captain with a Dutch passport will stay in Alkmaar until the end of the 2024/25 season.
It had previously been announced that AZ Alkmaar and Pascal Jansen had verbally agreed on a contract renewal, with only the paperwork to be signed.

“I feel very valued by AZ Alkmaar. We have a wonderful squad and we understand that we can achieve even more in the coming seasons” said Pascal Jansen previously.
The 50-year-old coach is having a wonderful campaign in the UEFA Europa Conference League and continues to fight hard in the Eredivisie for a place in the UEFA Champions League. The Alkmaarders eliminated SS Lazio in the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa Conference League.
I am not very happy with Pascal Jansen. He is very average coach but he and Max found a common language. Bottom line he suits AZ management.
