The KNVB announced the round of 16 matches of the Dutch Cup and the highlight of this phase of the competition will be the game between FC Twente and AFC Ajax at De Grolsch Veste, in Enschede. Recently, the two clubs met at the Johan Cruijff ArenA and the match ended in a goalless draw. That match will take place on Thursday, February 9th. That same day, ADO Den Haag will have the support of its fans to receive Go Ahead Eagles.
Unlike the second phase, where only a few games were broadcast by ESPN in the Netherlands, in this phase of the competition, all games will be broadcast guaranteed by the broadcaster.

The first round of 16 games of the Dutch Cup will be played on Tuesday, February 7th. At AFAS Stadion, AZ Alkmaar will host FC Utrecht. Later, we have the Gelderland derby between De Graafschap and De Treffers. At the end of the day, SC Heerenveen will visit NAC Breda at Rat Verlegh.
On Wednesday, there will be three more games. PSV will host FC Emmen at the Philips Stadion. Soon after, the duel that will put at least one amateur club in the quarterfinals of the Dutch Cup, Spakenburg and Katwijk. In Rotterdam, Feyenoord will end the day hosting FC Emmen.
