Yanick van Osch is SC Cambuur’s first signing

SC Cambuur is his first signing for next season and the name he landed at Cambuur Stadion to sign with Levinho was Yanick van Osch. The 26-year-old goalkeeper has signed a three-year deal with the Leeuwarders.

With more than one hundred professional games played in Holland, Yanick van Osch arrives with the mission of helping SC Cambuur to return to the elite of Dutch football in the new season that will start soon.

His history is to spend a few seasons in the clubs he defends. It was like that at PSV, the club that revealed him to professional football. He spent three seasons in the PSV first team before accepting an offer from Fortuna Sittard. At Fortuna Sittard Stadion he also spent three more seasons and played 65 games and conceded 120 goals.

Milan Robberechts signs with Fortuna Sittard for two seasons

Fortuna Sittard announced another signing for next season. Milan Robberechts is another reinforcement that will arrive to help the club continue to remain in the Eredivisie for another season. His contract with Fortuna Sittard will run for two seasons, with the possibility of a third season if Fortuna Sittard triggers the contract extension clause.

Milan Robberechts will work with Danny Buijs. The same coach he worked with in Belgium when the captain was working at KV Mechelen last season. He arrives at no cost to Fortuna Sittard and is valued at 200,000 euros.

“I’m glad you’re here. Fortuna Sittard looks like a team that wants to keep growing within the Netherlands. I have the opportunity to develop further, mainly because I will be playing at a higher level competition. I’m really looking forward to getting started” said Milan Robberechts.

He never played professionally. Milan Robberechts will have his first opportunity in a senior team. In Belgium, he only played for KV Mechelen and always played in the club’s youth team. At just 19 years old, Milan Robberechts is a striker who plays on the right wing.

Burak Yılmaz announces his retirement and leaves Fortuna Sittard

Burak Yılmaz will no longer be a Fortuna Sittard player. The experienced Turkish striker announced his departure and consequently his retirement from the pitch. He was still under contract with the Fortunezen, but chose to end his career.

The striker arrived in Sittard-Geleen to be part of a project where he would have the opportunity to work on the club’s coaching staff and later take over technical command of the team at the edge of the pitch. But the plans did not materialize and his adaptation to Dutch football was not the best.

Burak Yılmaz opted to return to his native Turkey and begin his career as an assistant coach at Beşiktaş JK, where he played 96 games and scored 32 goals. He leaves Fortuna Sittard Stadion with a mission to help the club stay in the successfully concluded Eredivisie. There were 27 games for Fortuna Sittard and nine goals scored.

Danny Buijs is the new coach of Fortuna Sittard

After announcing that Julio Velázquez would no longer be Fortuna Sittard’s coach for the next season, the club’s board ran out of time to announce a new commander and the name of Danny Buijs was made official. After an adventure in Belgium, more precisely at KV Mechelen, Danny Buijs is back in the Eredivisie to manage Fortunezen.

Danny Buijs’ contract with Fortuna Sittard is valid for the next two seasons. The coach will have time to assemble the team in his own way. In Belgium, Danny Buijs managed KV Mechelen in just eleven matches, with three wins, two draws and six defeats. He was fired for low performance.

In the Netherlands, he managed only FC Groningen in the Eredivisie. In 136 games, he won 50 against 60 losses and 26 draws. Without achieving good results with the Green-and-White Army, he ended up being fired in his last season at the club.

Even with little experience in the Eredivisie and with not so good jobs, Fortuna Sittard decided to bet on Danny Buijs to try to keep the club in the elite of national football in the next two seasons.
