PSV announced the signing of Fábio Silva. The 20-year-old Portuguese striker, who belongs to Wolverhampton, arrives on loan until the end of this season. He was at Belgium’s RSC Anderlecht in the first six months of that season, but the striker failed to perform the minimum expected for him to become a starter in the Belgian team.
Fábio Silva was already present at the Philips Stadion, to follow PSV’s 1-0 victory over Vitesse, in the Eredivisie. Valued at thirteen million euros, Fábio Silva has a contract until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Even at just twenty years old, Fábio Silva already has a good amount of games for different teams. He was revealed by FC Porto de Portugal, where he played 21 games and scored just three goals in the professional team. In England, he only defended Wolverhampton and scored four goals in 62 games. In Belgium, he managed to appear in 32 matches for RSC Anderlecht and scored eleven goals.
