Wassim Bouziane signed his first professional contract with AZ Alkmaar. The Cheeseheads signed Wassim Bouziane until the end of the 2025/26 season. Last season he won the U17 Dutch Cup and U17 Eredivisie with AZ Alkmaar. Next season he will be a member of AZ Alkmaar U18 squad.

“Like everyone else, I used to play football in the square with my friends. My father used to accompany me. Then I spent a few years playing for the OFC in Oostzaan with my twin brother. Adaptation was difficult at first, but thank God I managed to pick up the pace and today I am fully adapted to the club” said Wassim Bouziane.
