Sven Zitman leaves PEC Zwolle and signs with TOP Oss

TOP Oss announced the signing of Sven Zitman from PEC Zwolle. He signs until the end of the 2024/25 season with Ossenaren and with the option of automatic renewal for another season. The expectation is that already in this weekend’s round, he can enter the field for TOP Oss.

The 21-year-old midfielder was at PEC Zwolle last season and has a contract with the Blauwvingers until the end of next season. The Zwollenaars had already informed the athlete that they would no longer count on him for the sequence of the season.

“We are extremely happy with the arrival of Sven Zitman. He will bring great strength to our team in pursuit of our goals throughout this season. He is technically very experienced and able to read the game well” said TOP Oss director of football Linton Posthumus.

“I am very happy to sign with TOP Oss. I hope to get on the field as soon as possible and I want to help TOP Oss to seek access to the Eredivisie” said Sven Zitman.

Zico Buurmeester renews with AZ Alkmaar and is loaned to PEC Zwolle

PEC Zwolle announced the signing of Zico Buurmeester for just one season. The 21-year-old will have his first professional experience away from the AFAS Stadion. To sign with the Blauwvingers, Zico Buurmeester needed to renew his contract until the end of the 2025/2026 season.

Valued at €550,000, Zico Buurmeester played 81 games and scored 12 goals for Jong AZ Alkmaar. In the first team of AZ Alkmaar, Zico Buurmeester played only nine games and scored one goal.

Born in Egmond aan den Hoef, province of North Holland, the village is part of the city of Bergen and is approximately seven kilometers from Alkmaar. The arrival of Zico Buurmeester at PEC Zwolle is to compensate for the departure of Thomas van den Belt.

Sepp van den Berg is loaned to 1. FSV Mainz 05

Liverpool announced this Thursday the loan of Sepp van den Berg to 1. FSV Mainz 05 in Germany. The 21-year-old defender will return to Germany. The defender defended Schalke 04 last season, also on loan from Liverpool.

This will be the third time that Liverpool have loaned the young defender to other clubs. Initially, he was loaned out to Preston NE. Then it was time to head to Germany, where he defended Schalke 04 and will now return to wear the colors of 1. FSV Mainz 05.

 

Last season, he featured in just nine games for Schalke 04. With 1. FSV Mainz 05, he hopes to get more opportunities throughout the season. In the Netherlands, he played for PEC Zwolle before being sold to Liverpool in July 2019 for €1,900,000.
