Ajax would like to keep Remko Pasveer longer. According to the Dutch newspaper “De Telegraaf”, the 39-year-old goalkeeper would have received a contract renewal proposal to continue in Amsterdam for another season.
Although Remko Pasveer turns forty in November and Ajax signed Gerónimo Rulli midway through that season, the Godenzonens would like to keep Remko Pasveer in the squad for next season. The experienced goalkeeper arrived free of charge at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in 2021, after standing out in the Vitesse shirt.
Initially, Remko Pasveer arrived to be the third goalkeeper for Ajax. With the doping suspension of André Onana and the injury of Maarten Stekelenburg, Remko Pasveer received an opportunity and managed to please the coaching staff that was in charge of Ajacieden at the time. He stood out with the shirt of Ajax and was called up for the Dutch national team.
